Grand Canyon Weddings
Love is Grand at a Grand Canyon Venue
For most brides-to-be, the thought of organizing a Grand Canyon wedding is almost unthinkable. After all, getting married at one of the seven natural wonders of the world is pretty heady stuff. Imagine a backdrop so immense and spacious with dazzling waves of changing late afternoon light that bounces of forever-wide canyon walls as you say your I dos! Like Sedona, a Grand Canyon wedding is over-the-top extraordinary! And there are many out-of-the-ordinary things to consider and plan for at this unique site. Simply stated, Grand Canyon weddings require a Grand Canyon wedding planner.
Our team at Sedona Luxury Weddings & Events, led by JB Bloomfield, is made up of seasoned pros who have conducted fabulous Grand Canyon wedding ceremonies just about every month of the year. To have a wedding in the Grand Canyon means obtaining a National Park permit 3-4 weeks prior to your ceremony or event. We will be happy to arrange the process and provide you with the necessary documents. Because it is a National Park destination there are a few special rules and regulations that must be met to avoid any last minute surprises.
Grand Canyon Wedding Venues
There are a half dozen incredible wedding locations at the Grand Canyon. One special site, five miles from the Grand Canyon Village and located along the South Rim, is more removed from Grand Canyon hikers. A cool pine outcropping with spectacular sunset views, it can accommodate up to 85 people for both your wedding ceremony and receptions.
For small intimate weddings up to 45 guests there is an enormous flat rock that extends out with jaw-dropping views of the canyon below. This site makes a lovely location for your Grand Canyon wedding proposal, wedding ceremony, or renewal of vows. Please contact us today to discuss the best time of year, and time of day for your wedding. It helps to approximate the number of guests as well. A Grand Canyon wedding, with all its drama, splendor and magical light, if well planned, can be a treasured memory like no other.
